For a while I wrote so many shorts and proposals I feared I couldn’t write full sized again. Well no worries there! Now I have a different issue. The Beast Within could easily be 400 pages but In am only allowed 300 for Nocturne. Needless to say, I am parting with scenes and scraping to make sure I don’t go over. I am having to rethink parts of the plot. It’s painful. So very painful…

I’m not worried about making deadline on word count but the story being good with so few words than I needed means each scene needs to bring the characters more to life. So I am going through it all slowly and intensely…

So off to work some more!
