Thanksgiving Day winner!

Hello all! Okay our winner: Teresa Ryan I have your address too since you included it ! YAY! Congrats! We will mail your prizes out!

I am way behind today so have to catch up on all the good book recommendations tomorrow and will. I want to go book shopping this weekend!
We have a cold front coming in tomorrow and GASP (I was wearing shorts today!) they say ice by noon!
I go days and don’t leave the house and have to go out tomorrow! Early at least so hopefully I will be home before the mess hits. Still, I like the idea of winter and feeling like the holidays!

So- What’s the weather like there? We really barely had winter here last year. I am going to NYC for Christmas so I am excited to have more of a winter wonderland feel!

Lisa
PS new contest winners drawn over the weekend! I still have prizes lol. I need to clear the old ones and make room for the after holiday shopping I do for prizes!

    Congrats Teresa Ryan!

Today is a beautiful sunny and glorius day. Definately a day to be outside having a picnic and not for indoors at the office *sigh* Yep we currently in our Summer season!

I must say that if I had a choice I would rather spend my Christmas in a winter wonderland than this hot weather. Next year possibly will be true, as I’ll be spending Christmas and New Year’s in Monaco … YAY!

Hey Lisa see you were also fooled into thinking November had 31 days as per your contest prize link …LOL

Don’t worry I too have made such a mistake, but boy I could do with another day before December starts … still have so many prezzies to buy

Here in Finland we had lots of snow for a while, but now… There isn’t any! And it’s raining! It’s incredible! In Lappland -and in some other parts of Finland as well- people who get their income from tourism are not quite happy.

In PA it’s been in the sixties the last few days but today it’s raining and cooler and tomorrow we may have snow. It’s been strange weather around here for the end of November!

It is warm here, but kind of dreary looking. I think we are supposed to have more rain coming in.

Right now it’s -8C and snowing, with wind chill to -16C. It’s warmed up quite a lot since yesterday, when it was -27C plus wind chill. I hope it stays below freezing; they’re predicting that it will thaw within a few days, which will leave us with a lot of slush and a lot of ice when it freezes again (which it’s supposed to).

    I’m tired of winter!

We are warmer today; -8C. Have lots of snow and the wind chill was terrible the last few days. It is calm so far.

Our weather seems similar to yours. It’s been nice all week, but they’re calling for snow tomorrow. I’m not ready for winter.:(

I wouldn’t guarantee a colder winter for you in NYC - I’m in NJ, I guess 30 minutes away from NYC and this past week has been in the 60s. It’s going to get cooler for the weekend, a couple days after that in the 40s, but it doesn’t look like it’ll last too long and go up again (at least by the long term forecast). It’s certainly weird, but helps save money on heating! :)

It’s been cold (for me!) and windy here in the CA desert. The high today was 50 and the low overnight was 18. I’m just glad that I don’t live in the Midwest with the weather that they’ve been getting!

Another california girl. Hi Jodi. We are pretty nippy here, but thankfully no snow. It’s the fog right now that is the worst and the scariest.

I live in NC and it has been 65 and up for the past 3 days. That is definitely not the norm here. It is normally very chilly by now. I think by this weekend the weather is going to realize that it is December and get colder.
