Well last night we went to the movies and it was crazy busy! We were too late to see Denzel and sit anyplace that didnt’ require sitting in an unnatural position. So we stayed and watched the next timeslot for Bond which sold out so we were lucky we got in early.
Here is my take. One..the man looks so like my EX husband of 17 years it was distracting. It really really was. I mean he is such a splitting image. Even his body. My ex - when he is in shape, which he was when I married him and for many years- has the exact body type. Same hair, same bright eyes only they are greenish, and even same skin tone. It freaked me out.
That said, I loved that Bond fought and seemed like a real man who did battle not some gatchet carrying wimp. So that appealed. I didn’t like that he fell in love so damn easy in the movie. That didn’t fit Bond to me. And if I wrote that in my books, my editors would go WTF Lisa!? And you the readers, most likely would too!
I also liked that they made him human from the standpoint of making mistakes and then fixing them…I won’t say more for those who haven’t seen it. My final take though - Craig is better than the Bond before in my eyes. Still not Connery and I think they really NEEDED a younger more Connery type guy who could carry things farther. Craig might be in shape but his face isn’t aging well.

Anyone else see a movie? What about the fountain? I am torn about seeing that one…
Oh and I STILL have popcorn stomach this morning. Blah. I ate so much salt and junk yesterday I have yet to eat today. I feel like my face it two times its normal size, not to mention my backside! lol
