QUICK NOTE — Check out the new comment features done by the wonderful Frauke! Aren’t they cool!?

Today isn’t Wednesday is it? Whoops! I really am having a day of the week issue. They really run together. I don’t know what a weekday and a weekend is. Anyway…onward to Friday!

Oh and I enjoyed last weeks WHAT ARE YOU READING AND ABOUT TO READ session almost as much as our week before set of questions we all answered. You guys reminded me of books I want! Kenyon’s Devil May Cry! I forgot this one! BUT –WHY WHY WHY in hardback! BOO! So expensive. I also grabbed the second book in Cristina Dodd’s paranormals when I swore no paranormal until I finish this Blaze I am writing! I am bad bad bad. I know. Books are my obsession.

And movies! — I am so so behind on movies I am going to see one tomorrow night. Maybe two! We want to catch Harry before its out of the theatres and that new Kevin Bacon movie looks good!

Okay TWO contests! I have author copies of EXCLUSIVE! I have one to give away! Not even in stores yet!

All you have to do is post something, anything about any of the three authors in the anthology. Jaci Burton. Eden Bradley. ME! A book review. A website review. Anything!

That’s the first contest.

SECOND CONTEST :our normal weekly contest…Help me decide what movies I missed and should be glad I missed. Which ones I hae to get on DVD or before they stop showing. Good movies stimulate wriitng I find. so help me find some good stimulation! This will be from my goodie drawer and bookshelf of EC and Secrets novels(the prize)

I don’t usually get to see movies before the are on dvd, but the last ones I saw were Transformers (Awesome) and The Bourne Ultimatum (awesome too, with a hot guy). Matt Damon makes fighting look so very hot.

Some of my favorites are older movie, The Boondock Saints, Snatch, Pirates of the Caribbean, and anything with Zombies (like Shaun of the Dead, Day of the Dead, everything with Dead in it lol)

And… Jaci Burton, Eden Bradly, and you are three wonderful writers. Considering how much I have loved everything else written by the three of you, I have no doubt in my mind that Exclusive will deliver three great stories that leave me wanting more.

    :D

If you want too see a funny movie, see “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry” I don’t know if it’s still in theaters or not, but its very funny. At first I didn’t think it would be, but it really busts trhough the normal stereotypes most film makers use when casting gay characters. I really liked it.
As for the new book, I know its gonna rock! All three of you are such awesome writers!!!

Well, I’m not a huge movie watcher, however I probably mentioned here if it caught the right time that I’ve been reading Jane Austen’s books over the past few months, finishing the last, oh last week I guess — but I’ve also been watching the movies right after. I HATED the 1999 Mansfield Park. All I can say about that one is. . . huh? Still love 1995 Pride and Prejudice. . . and all the rest that I caught are in between. :) Alas, with all I saw, I still have to catch a few more. LOL Maybe one of these days. :)

We usually wait for the DVD’s to come out. Wild Hogs was a great movie if you want a good laugh. There is just not that many great movies anymore. The Illusionist, The Prestiage, and the Gridiron Gang were all good movies.

As far as the authors you mention I have loved all of the books that I have read of yours, great authors. You guys don’t realize what you do for us readers. You give us a place to escape when things are not going good for us. When we are down of bored you give us a different world to live in, a different place to visit. Keep up the good work.

The last movie I watched (on DVD) was 300. If you like inspiration by way of uber delicious eye candy…that’s the movie for you!! It’s a little gross at times, but all the men sporting Speedos and 8-packs makes up for the headless bodies. :)

I will be completely honest and say that I’ve never read anything by Jaci, but I love your work and I “know” Eden from Romance Divas. She’s one sassy girl! :)

For the good movie list, I would add:
Pathfinder with Karl Urban, Premonition with Sandra Bullock, and The Last Mimzy. The three that my kids dragged home this summer that I would pass on:
Apocalypto, Hannibal Rising and Hills Have Eyes 2 (boring, gross, sickening).

I am a big Jaci Burton fan and loved Surviving Demon Island and just started Hunting the Demon. She writes amazing plots with great adventure, suspense and romance throughout.

I saw both of these and liked them! I did laugh when they had a house dog at the Indian reserve considering the year but I forgave them because the rest was so intense and good! And I love Sandra Bullock!

I’ve only rented Wild Hogs on dvd this last week and a movie I will buy. I didn’t think it would be that good but I loved it.:) I laughed through the whole movie. I wont spoil the movie but I enjoyed the camp and pond scene with the cop.
I enjoy reading Jaci Burton print books. I like her series books.:) I love when an author brings back people from older books. Sounds crazy but its like you can find out how they are doing after you read their books.lol
I’m waiting for your Beast Within book to come out in November. You teased us with the book and we have a long wait until we can read it.lol
    Congrats Jenny enjoy your prize.:)

    Congrats Jenny!!

As for good movies, I really enjoyed an indie film called Once about two Irish singers creating a song. Great soundtrack for it too. I also liked Bourne Ultimatum. Out of all the threequals this summer, this was the best of ‘em.

Love Jaci Burton’s Demon series and am going to read the second story of the series over the holiday.

First off I love your work and Jaci Burton. I don’t know about Eden Bradley.

The last movie I seen was the last Harry Potter that came out. We are planning to see 3:10 to Yuma, I here it’s going to be good!

3:10 to Yuma does look good doesn’t it. I absolutely love Christian Bale! He was also very good in Rescue Dawn which came out two months ago. But then he’s good in all his movies.

I have not been to see a movie in forever but everyone who I know has been to see it highly recommended Transformers.

As for the three authors your books are great Lisa. I read Jaci’s book Surviving Demon Island and enjoyed it. Have not gotten Hunting the Demon ,which was just released, yet but I intend to. Have never read anything Eden’s so I can’t comment about her work.

We just watched Wild Hogs last night, and laughed through out most of the movie. I love William H. Macy’s character!

Hard and Fast is next in my TBR pile and if the cover is any indication it is gonna be HOT!

I’ve never read anything by Jaci or Eden, but if they are associated with you they’ve got to be great , so I’ll add them to my must have list.

And I love the new look of the blog!!
