This week I was reading through the comments from a post over at Dearauthor.com (Great blog if you haven’t found them yet!) about reading category romance — the question among several being about reading them or not… It was a great post. Sometimes category romances have bold titles and covers. I wonder if this makes you nervous about going to the register to checkout? Do you buy them online for that reason ? Do you buy them? What line do you love?

Okay the sad news. Dresden Files was cancelled. How sad. I thought the show was just getting its legs and I am really disappointed. You guys might already know this but coming out of my writing deadlines I am catching up with the rest of the world.

I am so out of the movie scene and I LOVE movies.. I missed so many. Transformers is out of DVD and I plan to watch it this weekend to. What is opening I shouldn’t miss? And what did I miss I shouldn’t have missed? I was out of the scene August and September — And did you see any duds?

I finished copy edits for Beast of Desire today. They went off in fed ex and I was very excited that Beast of Darkness is excerpted in the back. That is the first time I have had that and I love it. With my deadlines behind me I caught up on television. So here is my little rundown. Love to hear your thoughts:

-Reaper -cute but not enough of a draw to pull me back before DVD
-Moonlight- has promise but I feel that Angel copycat thing so they have to win me over on DVD
-Prision Break. Episode three tonight finally got me back into it. I was not that into this season
-Catching up on 4400 and SO into this show. Loving it. The main leader is just so something. Powerful in his own way. Addicted!
-Bionic Woman. I started it. I got irritated that she was so irritated that she had legs and an arm and an eye. She could be without any of these things or dead. There was no thank god I can walk. It bugged me and felt illogical. Upset and freaked yes. Alive with legs - relieved. That is what I think she should have felt.
-Smallville — I just want Clark to get the attention not any other super power and I am sick of Lana. I hear Lex is leaving after this season too and next season may end the show. So give us Clark and Lois before its over! Still, I am loyal. I fight through my Lana irritation for Clark.
-Supernatural- Those boys just kick butt! LOVE that show! LOVE it….bring on more more more! But if they end this season with Dean having one day left to live I will throw something at my tv.
–Looking forward to Lost and praying 24 redeems itself in January.

Oh and as for books…reading an old book from my keeper shelf…USED TO BE LOVERS by Linda Lael Miller. Something about this book really touches me. It’s old but so so emotional.

Anyway, I just heard about some libraries that are getting coffee bars and internet connections. I think this is smart! People can go there and get the bookstore experience and instead of shutting down because of poor funding the libraries can stay open! What do you think?
