Sending a child to an out of state college is….

Sending a child to an out fo state college is…..worthy of a nervous breakdown. I have spent days and days and days coordinating everything. We move ten days after he does. He leave later this week and we are flying up for last minute stuff too. I get to ensure he is safety tucked into his new apartment and school and make the FINAL arrangements before we move. Nail biting! Oh my god! I am moving to another STATE. Terrifying, exciting, amazing, crazy!

I have Beast of Desire ARCS!
Post here this week while I am gone and just tell me about your new year or shout out and I will draw when I get back. I am sorry I am behind. This month is insane. I have proofs for Beast of Darkness coming tomorrow and I am writing Captive by the Beast, book 4 of my Knights of White. I am going to write book 5 as soon as I finish book 4 so I can stay wrapped in the world.

So tell me what you are up to?

I hope the new year brings happiness and success. Nothing exciting has happened in this new year, but I’m hoping it will be a great one. Maybe I’ll be able to read more books this year.

    Happy New Year Lisa!

My new year couldn’t have started worse, because my grandfather died last Thursday. So I just can hope that the year gets better. But I saw again that books are great way to escape the problems of the world.

Wow! Sounds like you are ultra stressed. Hope the new move goes smoothly. Things have actually gotten a bit calmer for me now that the holidays are over and the kids are not sick. I have been trying to get some reading done. I just finished reading a Christmas book from my pile and have been concentrating on reading some manga. Almost done with that and will probably start reading Twilight by Stephanie Meyer which has been highly recommended to me by a number of people.

I hope everyone is having a great year so far! I’m not doing anything too exciting this year except looking for a newer handicapped accessible minivan. I hope I find one I can afford!

I just want to have more free time… I work about 11 hours a day, and it is getting tiresome!

    Happy New Year Lisa,
I am kind of joining you with the nail biting nervous breakdown. My son has decided to start college now. He is going in state. I will take him tomorrow to get him set up with housing and orientation on Thursday. EKU is about an hour drive from where we live not good roads. He doesn’t have his driver’s license yet so I will have to go get him when he wants to come home. I hope this will help him grow up a little, he has a lot to learn. He want have mom to do everthing for him. I have been trying to get him in college sense he got out of high school in May and now he has decided to go. Best Christmas gift a mother could have.

ooo I want one!! The new year was not that good I suppose. My nephew was sick and in the hospital, and then I was sick. Things are better now though.

Hi, Lisa! I hope the writing’s going very well!

I’ve been up to a lot lately, just started going to Clinicals this week and now I have assignments to do for it AND class work too, I have to found a way to balance it so I don’t so stressed, you know? Especially when I have to write my care plans every week (due on Mondays) and study for my exam every monday, too.

We started with Geriatrics which I admit I’m not a huge fan of, in fact I hate nursing homes but I have to do it. My first patient, ’scuse me, resident, was a psych patient so I had alot of problems dealing with him but thankfully we change patients every week. Thank god!! I can’t wait until we get to Pediatrics, that’s the area I want to work in.

Oh, Lisa, the biggest of hugs to you. Our daughter is only two hours away at school and we miss her like crazy, I can’t imagine having her far away. I can’t wait to hear more about your move and how the new compares to the old!

Sending lots of warm wishes your way!

Instead of my usual lose a million pounds resolution , this year I decided that my 2008 resolution is to take better care of myself-physically, mentally, and spiritually!

For new years, I was sick. Other than that, I hope to exercise, eat healthy, and be happy for 2008.

Hope you have a great 2008!
