It’s almost 2008!!!!! Can you believe it? And this is such a good time of year to reflect on life — don’t you think? I have had such an eventful year. I saw my first book in print with only MY name and that was very exciting. I changed agents which is terrifying. And the big ONE — I saw my youngest son who has struggled with ADD walk across a stage and graduate on TIME! Now, I am preparing to send him to college to play football and I am very proud. Stressed, nervous, but proud. Once my move is final I will be only two hours away from him so I can drive to his football games! Diego will finally be going to Med school which has been his lifelong dream as well. He supported mine and I plan to be his cheerleader too!

I don’t have a resolution but I do have excitement over 2008. I have a feeling it will be a year full of great things. Do you have a resolution?

Oh and I am so behind on my CD’s. They should be mailed! The first 10 people who email me before WED. I will rush one out to you!

Every year at Christmas I EAT too much junk (and love every single bite) and Diego and I make our own CD of holiday songs to share with friends and family. I will be giving away lots of copies here too! I also like to ask readers for ideas for that CD. Also, I am trying to bake. It’s a stretch. Believe me it is. In other words, HELP! Can anyone tell me WHY WHY WHY my cakes keep rising too much in the middle and cracking as they cool? This said, A SECOND way to enter the contest this week — I’d love to have you share your wonderful recipes for the untalented cook! LOL ME! Last year I did this on my blog and it was really fun.

Oh — Beast of Desire cover should be here this week so I am going to pop back in to share it the second it arrives. I can’t wait!!

This week I was reading through the comments from a post over at Dearauthor.com (Great blog if you haven’t found them yet!) about reading category romance — the question among several being about reading them or not… It was a great post. Sometimes category romances have bold titles and covers. I wonder if this makes you nervous about going to the register to checkout? Do you buy them online for that reason ? Do you buy them? What line do you love?
