Congratulations! You've done more than say you're going to write a book, you've really done it! Now it's time to get published and turn all that hard work into rewards. If your goal is to be with one of the big New York Houses, in stores, and published around the world, you will need an agent to navigate a winning career and that means garnering attention amongst what will be hundreds of competing and eager aspiring writers. For this reason, and others, attracting the right agent can feel like a daunting and intimidating process and it's easy to feel your manuscript might end up unnoticed or dismissed. This class is all about standing out and traveling your path to victory by educating yourself, putting your best foot (and novel) forward, and doing so by writing and structuring a pitch for your novel that is professional and compelling, so that you win attention and the perfect agent.

Jones has hit the New York Times bestsellers list 14 times and USA Today bestsellers list 45 times, and will share valuable knowledge she has learned over a long, and successful multi-genre career. In this two hour interactive Zoom class she will mentor you, answer questions, provide guidance and samples of what you need to be prepared to write yourself.
Participants will have the opportunity to submit chapters to be reviewed in class. The instructor will not critique your story as publishable or not, as that is often individual opinion. Guidance on basic publishing requirements and polishing your work will be the focus.
A question and answer session will be the conclusion of the event but questions are welcomed throughout the event
